It sure would be nice to make some extra money. But then again, you don't really want to take on a part-time job that doesn't pay well or requires you to work set hours. You'd really like something with flexibility, something where you could make some good money too. How does making $400 to $600 a week sound? Do you have a car or pickup truck? Do you have 12 hours to spare? Great! Here's how you can do it. First, you could become a courier. A courier service delivers packages and other items across town. They perform a service similar to UPS and FedEx, but are simply better able to do a good job locally and for last-minute jobs. You don't need a van or truck either. If you have a reliable vehicle, you have the main component necessary to be a success. Couriers make an average of $36 an hour. Work 12 hours and you've just made $432. Best of all, you can work whenever you want. You set your hours. You decide. Second, maybe you'd like to become a field inspector. A field inspector visits a variety of properties, such as a new restaurant, a new office building or a foreclosed home, and performs a basic inspection, fills out a couple forms and takes a couple pictures. It's simply fairly easy work. Field inspection is drive-by profits. And get this, you simply take the jobs you want to take. You're the boss. You decide. If you can spare 12 hours a week, you can easily make over $400 just by performing drive-by inspections. Third, maybe you'd really like to start a senior errand service. As seniors age, many become homebound or simply unable to complete errands, the same types of errands we do all the time and take for granted. As an errand runner, you might be asked to get groceries, pickup medicine from the pharmacy, house sit or many other things. In most cases, you simply drive around town completing errands, all while making great money. Plus, you can pick the schedule that works best for you. There's no full-time commitment necessary to be a success. Errand runners make between $18 and $35 an hour. Work a 12-hour week and you could make up to $420! It's just that easy. Finally, if you have a pickup truck or van, you could start your own haul-away business. Haul-away businesses help clean up clutter and messes. They haul away furniture and appliances that are broken or not needed. They take all that debris from construction projects, and either take it to the landfill or recycle it. It's simply a valuable service for any community. You can work on weekends, or just in the evening, or whenever you'd like to work. Plus, junk haulers make, on average, $53 an hour. Work 12 hours and you've just made over $600. Just like that! If you have a reliable vehicle, and you can spare 12 hours a week, you could make some really good money. You don't need any special training or certifications either. Before long, you'll be making good money, all while working as little or as much as you'd like.
